Find out a little more about one of our Gorilla Brothers, Phil.
Man for all seasons – ability to undertake literally any manual task successfully. Falling out of love with the beautiful game. Big traveller. Doesn’t get enough holidays.
Very difficult and such a wide range of genre (gonna cheat a little) – lets go : David Tort – Strangers (Summer anthem) Spanish house music. Elvis songs – always remind me of my late dad which makes me smile! Lets throw in Queen – Fat Bottom Girls.
Pressure Drop by Pressure Drop! Approx 8 euro a pint the last time i had it! This could have been the main culprit for starting my love affair with craft beers. Lets slip in a cheeky black Sambuka shot as well.
Sampling craft beers and watching football to name one of a few – Although today i feel football has and continues to been ruined by over paid players and agents, plus the elitist attitude of the Premier League and owners. Long live the working mans sport.

Whilst snorkelling in a bay somewhere in Turkey a good few years ago now, i managed to become somewhat of a local hero. A couple on honeymoon were also swimming off boat when she lost her very sentimental family engagement ring. The boat was in shock as the poor girl wept inconsolably. I jumped back in the water with flippers and snorkel in hand – divine intervention or sheer luck after ten/fifteen minutes or so i caught a glint-sparkle on the sea bed. I managed to dive the full depth to retrieve what proved to be her ring (Titanic Heart of the ocean springs to mind at this point LOL) On rising out of the water with the ring in my grasp appearing 1st, i was greeted by rapturous applause and screams but this time the tears were of joy. After this episode I don’t recall buying another drink for myself for the next few days at least – True story folks
